BPSA Background Information:
Backpack Snack Attack, an outreach program of the Warwick Reformed Church in Warwick, NY, is a non-profit organization, begun in 2009, that provides food on weekends to over 300 needy children in ALL schools (not just elementary) in Warwick Township. The school identifies the families in need. We provide the backpacks for the children and fill them with easy- to- prepare food for them and their siblings. A group of volunteers fill backpacks each week with 13-14 food items (per child) and deliver this food to the schools, whereupon the backpacks are discreetly distributed to the children to take home for the weekend.

 All donations to the program purchase food and backpacks;
NO DONATIONS ARE USED FOR ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS
Administrative costs are covered by our generous volunteers and sponsors

We accept food donations if this is what you prefer to donate, however,
we have access to significant discounts when we buy in bulk
from specific suppliers - so financial contributions are more cost effective!
